The company was acquired in 2020 by the strategy consulting firm McKinsey & Company and continued as "Orpheus, a McKinsey company," an offering to create transparency across company-wide distributed purchasing data, enable expenditure and cost analysis, and simplify the control and measurement of procurement success. In 2021 Orpheus became Spendscape by McKinsey a Software as a Service (SaaS) analytics platform.
