Atira is a Munich-based AI startup building the commercial brain for industrial manufacturing: an AI agent that runs the full response to a request for quotation (RFQ), from reading the incoming documents to configuring the solution, flagging deal risks and drafting the quote. Founded in November 2024, the company operates the agentic layer between a manufacturer's CRM and ERP, automating work that still ties up sales engineers, technical, legal and commercial teams for weeks to months per proposal. Its agents take on the complex, built-to-order inquiries that never fit into standard configuration software, and the platform grows sharper with each deployment as it captures which configurations win and which risks matter. Since its commercial launch in 2025, Atira has signed more than 15 enterprise customers, with zero churn and 100% pilot conversion. It was co-founded by Florian Diegruber (CEO), who led Palantir's commercial team in the DACH region for four years, and August DuMont Schütte (CTO), who spent eight years shipping AI into production at Google and Hilti.

Cyclize, a spin-off from the University of Stuttgart, has developed a technology to defossilize the chemical industry using mixed plastic waste and CO2 as raw materials to produce synthesis gas (a gas mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen). This synthesis gas is a fundamental building block for advanced chemicals and is used in making plastics, methanol, hydrogen, and e-fuels. Until now, synthesis gas has been obtained through the linear use of fossil resources such as natural gas. The innovative plasma-based process replaces fossil resources with waste materials, enabling a circular carbon economy and avoiding hundreds of megatons of CO2 annually by 2050.

kausable is a Heidelberg-based DeepTech AI startup building a reasoning-first causal world model – frontier AI that learns rapidly from little data and adapts to new contexts on its own, without the constant, costly retraining that today's systems depend on.
