Dr. Oliver Schoppe appointed Partner at UVC Partners
Munich, Germany – February 17, 2026 – Dr. Oliver Schoppe has been appointed to the leadership team of UVC Partners. He invests primarily in Software, Artificial Intelligence, and TechBio/Health. With his appointment, UVC Partners further strengthens its commitment to technological excellence and an entrepreneurial perspective within the partnership.
Oliver Schoppe has been part of the UVC Partners investment team since 2021 and was quickly promoted to Principal. Since joining, he has played a key role in investments such as Aleph Alpha, Patronus, Reel, Paretos, Rencore, Biomatter, Sonia, as well as additional undisclosed investments. With this step, UVC Partners expands its partnership and reinforces the fund's long-term development. All existing partners will continue in their roles on a long-term basis. Oliver’s portfolio responsibilities and thematic focus also remain unchanged.
By joining the partnership, Oliver underscores his long-term commitment to UVC Partners. Since joining the firm, he has focused on jointly advancing the fund and shaping its investment strategy. So far, Oliver served as a Principal at UVC Partners, focusing on early-stage investments in artificial intelligence, enterprise SaaS, data-driven business models, digital health, and TechBio.
Prior to his career in venture capital, Oliver gained extensive experience at McKinsey & Company, where he advised industrial companies and private equity funds on growth strategy, IPOs, and M&A transactions.
His academic background spans electrical engineering, neuroscience, computer science, and artificial intelligence. He studied at leading institutions, including the Technical University of Munich, the University of Oxford, Harvard, and MIT.
