Car sharing made easy: CarJump has developed an app that bundles all car sharing offers at a glance. Users can quickly find available vehicles in their vicinity that are offered by various car sharing providers, directly book them, and even return them to a different location. In other words, ideal for A-to-B trips. Users easily register and verify their driving licence by video and only once for all providers. The CarJump app is free for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. CarJump is aiming at becoming the single point of contact for all urban mobility offers (cars, transporters, scooters, motorbikes, etc.).

Vimcar is a Berlin-based SaaS startup digitalizing SMB fleets by simplifying the management of business vehicles. Based on different data sources, the solution is merging all relevant information in a one-stop and easy-to-use software. With its smart sensor systems for Industry 4.0, the Munich-based start-up Konux has developed a technology that identifies wear and tear early on as “predictive maintenance”. Self-learning algorithms can precisely monitor the wear, e.g. on critical switches for railway companies, so that customers can replace wear parts before a defect occurs.  In addition to sensors, Konux also offers a complete vertical solution, including the analysis and monitoring of data, under a SaaS business model. Creating cooling from heat waste: SorTech develops energy-saving, environmentally friendly adsorption chillers, which use excess heat as their primary energy source, e.g. from solar energy or industrial heat waste. The process involves the adsorption of steam from Zeolith, a sorption material, which results in the release of cooling.
